DIY: Patches

TEAM

Contributor: Erin Leary Owner & Creative Director of BeBuddhaJewelry

Idk about y’all but I love me a good DIY project.

I remember when I was in the 3rd grade at Michael’s with my mom and there were cool smily face retro patches lining the isles near the cashier.  I begged her to buy me one and I immediately ironed on to my favorite pair of jeans.  Fortunately for me, the 90’s ARE BACK BABY!!! AND I AM LOVING IT!!  I picked up this plain chambray jumpsuit from Nordstrom Rack for about $12.00 and bejazzled it up with my favorite patches.  The letter patches are iron on so you can customize your look like I did (buy them here).

My favorite patch designers: Wildflower and Company, King Sophie’s World,  Extreme Largeness, and Mokuybi Threads.  If you live in Chicago, there is vendor at Maxwell Street Market that sells AWESOME band patches (email me if you want details on how to find him)!
